Trained in the latest techniques, utilizing the latest equipment we remain the most visible members of the crew by staying right in the thick of the production, spotting potential safety problems and ready to handle any emergency should it arise.

STUNT SUPPORT STANDBY AMBULANCE SERVICE

When major stunts are part of the script, medical support is of the upmost importance. Cinema Safety & Marine Services, Inc. has the most comprehensive first aid kit in the business, bar none. We carry everything necessary to deal with any contingency be it medical or trauma.

We can also arrange for an ALS (Advanced Life Support) transport ambulance to be standing by if necessary. Working with local ambulance companies that provide this service, we take care of all details.

VEHICLE EXTRICATION

Every so often it’s necessary to bring out the big guns. When the scene calls for a vehicle roll over or crash, we will have to get the driver out in a hurry. Sometimes in order to do this we will need to utilize special equipment. CINEMA SAFETY & MARINE SERVICES carries all the right tools and equipment, and has the proper personnel trained in it’s use.

EXTREME LOCATION SUPPORT

Many productions shoot in areas other than the stage or backlot. These locations can often be far from medical support. There are certain locales that are particular to shooting car commercials or aerials, such as the desert where temperatures can reach 115 degrees in the summer to below freezing in wintertime.

VENOMOUS ANIMALS

When production is shooting in an area that may contain snakes or other animals native to the area that may cause potential harm, it is necessary to scout the area in question ahead of time in order to spot and possible relocate these critters to another area.

We have a number of trained personnel capable of handling these animals and safely get them and the production crew out of harms way.
