Portable Vacuum Units

All kinds of debris can get into the water from outside or even inside a facility. This debris can and will get stirred up by divers working underwater. CINEMA SAFETY & MARINE SERVICES has portable vacuum units and can ensure a clean tank before filming gets started, cleaning up all particles that have settled on to the bottom.

Whether the body of water is a backyard swimming pool, a pre-constructed water tank, or an Olympic sized facility, CINEMA SAFETY & MARINE SERVICES can black out any and all areas desired for filming. We have an extensive inventory of underwater solids in black, blue and green screen that can be placed where necessary to get the shot you desire.

SET DRESSING PLACEMENT/REMOVAL

Not everyone in every department is a certified diver. And even if they are, many do not have the technical expertise or experience of working underwater. CINEMA SAFETY AND MARINE personnel have worked on numerous projects, placing props, set dressing and many other items to make the set just right.

U/W COMMUNICATION & FULL FACE MASKS

Whether you need to communicate to divers below, or need the camera operator to talk back to you, we can supply an Underwater Comm system capable of allowing production to talk to all personnel in the water. We have Underwater Speakers for playback, and microphones to hear ambient sounds underwater.

HOOKAH LINES/SURFACE SUPPLIED AIR SYSTEMS

MOBILE AIR COMPRESSOR/ON SITE AIR FILLS

Camera operators will on many occasions, find it easier to not wear a full SCUBA setup and opt for a simple air line. These long lines (called Hookahs) allow flexibility in positioning and movement. CINEMA SAFETY & MARINE SERVICES has air lines in any length, from 10′ to 250′ long.

When a larger operation is taking place and the ability to fill SCUBA tanks becomes an issue, our mobile dive compressor can be brought out to fill the job. At 15cfm with 2 lines for filling we can keep up with your dive crew and get them fresh, clean air every time. We also offer drop off service as we keep over 100 SCUBA tanks in our own inventory.

COURTESY REPAIRS ON SET/INSTRUCTOR OVERSIGHT

Not everyone dives on a regular basis like us. And not everyone uses their gear and has it serviced regularly like us. If a piece of equipment is not functioning properly, we can usually get it repaired on our Mobile Dive Trailer on site. We carry all the tools and parts to get it back up and going. Our repair technician is certified to repair most major brands and can usually get it up and running in a minimum amount of time.
